Divvy Fee Schedule

Divvy Fee Schedule

LAST UPDATED: 3 June 2009

All of Divvy’s reservation features are free to use.

If you want to use divvy to fully automate your site’s payment processing, then you’ll need to link to a Paypal account (instructions on how to do so are provided on your 'Space Settings' page). In this case, Divvy takes a per-reservation fee of 2.1% plus $0.20 up to a maximum of $5, on top of any fees that Paypal may charge.

Until your space has automated billing established, there will be a banner reminding you set Paypal. To remove this banner, you may either integrate with a Paypal account or else pay the following subscription fee:

$39.95 per month (recurring)

Payment of the subscription will also allow you to upload a logo for display on every page of your divvy site.

Note:
  1. The divvy fee shown on the balance page and in reports includes any PayPal fees associated with the PayPal masspay payment of the divvy fee. The divvy fee is paid for by the owner.
  2. PayPal may charge fees, as well, depending on the type of account opened by the owner. Paypal fees are paid for by the owner.
  3. Per-reservation payment system: users may have to pay, at the time of making a reservation, all fees associated with the use of that item. Other debits and credits (to include costs and fees for extensions) which are effected manually by the owner, administrator, or concierge, or those automatically executed by the system for cancelations or releases, may also be applied to the balance due of the next reservation. Users may also pay outstanding balances, in the aggregate only, by visiting their account balance page where a PayPal button will be presented if there is a balance due. If a balance is accrued rather than paid, users may be required by the site’s owner to pay using alternative methods.
  4. Security deposits: if payment processing is implemented, security deposits are charged in full on the occasion of the first reservation of that item by that renter, and will be refunded in accordance with the terms and conditions established by the owner/administrator. The owner/administrator has the ability to capture some or all of a security deposit.
  5. Divvy does not refund its transaction fees. PayPal fees may or may not be refunded in accordance with their refund policies.
  6. Divvy does not refund subscription fees. If you cancel your subscription, we will stop billing and your subscription will remain active until the end of the current period.
